A chance meeting and a shared creative vision brought two Fashion Design graduates and good friends, Sera Ng and Eve Wong, together to create the up and coming womenswear label SEWN. Taking a huge leap of faith at the time, they both left their jobs to follow their dream of designing and running their own womenswear fashion label.

Combining their passion for fashion design with their business management skills and entrepreneurial spirit, Sera and Eve started SEWN with a strong vision – to create stylish, beautiful and well made clothing with quirky details, the kind of pieces that they would love to wear. Starting off with a simple capsule range of tee’s & singlets in their very first season, Eve & Sera have worked incredibly hard to push their boundaries to further develop and mature the label each season to reach the point where they are more and more confident about their creative concepts, range development and market knowledge.

In a testament to their effort and talent, their ‘Story of a Girl’ SS0506 collection created so much buzz before it was even delivered to their stockists that some boutiques, such as INCU, had a waiting list for selected pieces, and the range has continued to sell out multiple times through out the season.

Just late last year, SEWN was a not only a finalist in the fashion category of the Qantas Spirit of Youth Awards, but was in the top four, making the Highly Commended list.

In addition, SEWN entered the recent Mercedes Start Up competition which is held as part of MAFW and was one of the eight (8) chosen finalists for NSW – an exciting achievement for both Eve & Sera and one which reinforced their dedication and passion to continue growing and building their label.
